Wychavon Town Strategic Infrastructure Consultation

The Wychavon Town Strategic Infrastructure Project consultation has launched.

The Strategic Infrastructure project will deliver the key movement corridor for Wychavon Town, including active travel, public transport and private vehicles. It will ensure that the infrastructure is in place to enable the development of Wychavon Town, the proposed new community near Worcestershire Parkway of around 10,000 homes and 50 ha of employment land, extensive green spaces, new schools, community facilities and a town centre.

We are also holding two engagement events where you can learn more about what's planned and speak to experts from Arcadis, who designed the proposals, as well as our planning team. The events will contain the same information as shown on the website.

The events take place on:

• Wednesday 1 July - Norton Parish Hall - 2pm to 7pm
• Thursday 2 July - Stoulton Village Hall - 9am to 1pm

Both are drop-in sessions, so you can arrive at any time.

Feedback from the consultation will be used to refine the proposals ahead of the submission of an Infrastructure Planning Application later this year.
Once approved, it will help ensure Wychavon Town remains infrastructure-led, meaning the roads, schools, shops, community buildings and other facilities needed to support new housing are delivered alongside it, not years later. It will also strengthen funding bids to help pay for major infrastructure.
